March 1, 2008 - Bippity Boppity Boo...Make Prom Dreams Come True Dress Collection and Shopping Event to benefit the Enchanted Closet

Thanks to your generosity, Social 360 and Ruby Jean's Clothing Boutique in Smyrna were able to collect over 150 prom dresses for the girls of the Enchanted Closet this year. Social 360 also provided several volunteers for the Enchanted Closet 2008 Prom Dress Giveaways for Atlanta young women in need of suitable prom attire for this memorable event. Hang onto to your dresses for next year's big event! Stephanie from Ruby Jean's also donated 20% of the day's profits to help with the dress giveaways.

Wine & Design - An art and design silent auction to benefit Women's Resource Center to End Domestic Violence. Join us for a night of live music, amateur and professinal art and design on the auction block, and a full cash bar. All proceeds will benefit the efforts of WRCEDV. Cash and Check only please.

Result: Thanks to the many supporters of our first Wine & Design, we were able to raise almost $2,500 for the Women's Resource Center to End Domestic Violence. Jewelry from Lauren Elizabeth Designs, wine from Atlanta Wine Club, and art donated by over 20 local artists amounted to a grand success! Our goal was to raise $1,000 and we more than doubled that! Thanks to everyone who came out and did some bidding!

1 p.m. - 3 p.m.

Join the ladies of S360 for a Saturday of shopping and fashion to benefit Atlanta's fine young women in need of prom attire for this year's prom.  For many young women, prom represents a social milestone and wonderful memories. Help us make prom dreams come true this year for many young ladies that may have no other means to prepare for their prom.

Since 2003, the Enchanted Closet in Atlanta has outfitted more than 1,800 girls for their school dance with the help of individuals and groups who hosted dress drives in their offices, schools, churches, and communities.  Visit www.theenchantedcloset.org for more information about how you can make a difference in these ladies' lives. Sign-up sheets to help with this year's dress giveaways will be available at the event as well.

Bring new or gently used formal gowns and prom accessories, such as hair pins, jewelry, and new makeup. Please no shoes! Ruby Jean's will donate a portion of the day's proceeds to Enchanted Closet to help with the 2008 dress giveaways. To donate a dress, contact michelle@thesocial360.org.

RESULT: More than 150 dresses were donated through Social 360, including generous donations of makeup, jewelry and other prom related accessories.
